What is The People’s Choice? This is entirely separate from case studies and live competition results. It’s where the people, your friends, fans, family, community, clients, etc. have an opportunity to vote for their favorite beauty professional. This is open to all The Skin Games players, in any category. Voting begins February 1st and goes through February 3rd. We will announce the top 10 professionals with the most votes after the voting period. The top 3 will be announced and receive awards at the live award show in March.
The People’s Choice awards are extra special because they shine a spotlight on the relationships and positive impacts that make our community so inspiring. The People’s Choice honors those who have truly connected with others through their passion and skills.
It’s important that everyone has the same opportunity to win, so please read the following:
First and foremost, go to the page and make sure your picture is there. Here is the link: https://peopleschoice.theskingames.com/.
Send an email to tolu@theskingames.com and info@theskingames.com as soon as possible if your profile is not there. We will not be able to make changes after 1/31/24. It’s your responsibility to make sure it’s there beforehand.
Voting will be February 1st through the 3rd. The voting window is set in pacific standard time. 1 person can vote 1x per calendar day. We have security measures in place to track fraudulent votes. Robo votes or any breech of integrity will lead to disqualification.
When it’s time to promote, feel free to get creative on your socials! Post about what makes you love this industry and share some client testimonials about how your work has made a difference. Make sure to include an easy clickable link or QR code so people can vote easily with just one tap.
You can also craft sharable graphics thanking those who supported your journey. Maybe create a fun video reminding your community of why they should cast a ballot in your honor. However you choose to campaign, focus on what really matters – your dedication, skills and positive relationships within the community.
This is a great chance to let your biggest cheerleaders celebrate you. So whether it’s posts, stories or even tweets – get those voting links in front of people and let your light shine through!
